    The Coconut Butter

    I decided I needed to try this coconut butter after reading rave reviews - and the verdict is: I agree! This stuff is wonderful. It is the perfect consistency, quite smooth, wonderful flavor. And it is not separated (as are some other brands, where all the oil is at the top and I need to heat it slightly to mix it together which is a pain). I used it in smoothies and other recipes, but like some other reviewers, I frequently just eat a spoonful or two of it, which satisfies my craving for sweets. Delicious.

    Not smooth and creamy

    I purchased this because reviews said it was smooth and creamy. It’s is actually very grainy to the point that is won’t even melt in my hands when I rub them together, it’s like sand. The ingredients say organic coconut flakes on my jar. And to spoon it out is just that, flaky. I wouldn’t purchase this again.

    One week after opening it half of the jar is gone. It’s become my treat for everything. Mid-afternoon pick-me-up, 4 am insomnia, 11 am snack break. Not all coconut is created equal and this one reigns supreme.
